The Uriël Ensemble features six string players, a clarinettist and a pianist. The flexibility of the ensemble allows many different combinations, ranging from trios to sextets and covers musical styles from Classical to the 20th century. Their repertoire embraces unknown works as well as established highlights.

They currently perform more than ten programmes annually, visiting most of the well-known stages  throughout the Netherlands.

The Paaskerk in Amstelveen, known for its unique atmosphere, hosts The Uriël Ensemble’s own concert series.

Four musicians with a shared passion for chamber music started the Uriël Ensemble in 2004.

This unique ensemble now has eight musicians, with a combined experience of many international concert halls.

During the past seven years, the Uriël Ensemble has established itself as one of the leading ensembles in The Netherlands.
